Another great State Convention with 25 members participating.
Parliamentary procedure Team of Noelle, Abbie, Elizabeth, Emma and Audrey brought home a Silver Award finishing in 5th place in the State, Farm Business Management team of Emmet, Riley, Peyton and Jacob finished 14th with a Gold rating, Ronnie finished 11th and Brock 15th in the Greenhand Knowledge Test, The Ag Sales Team of Colton, Gwen, Avery and Chase brought home a Silver Award, The Poultry Judging Team of Molly, Kade, Logan and Kelsie received a Bronze rating, Jacob also was awarded his State Degree. Cameron played in the State FFA band. Colton went across stage to accept an Ambassador Award on behalf of the chapter. Brylea and Austin were voting delegates at the business session. Elizabeth signed a letter of intent to attend Iowa State Fair to major in Agriculture Education and maybe the highlight of the convention was seeing Elizabeth elected as the State FFA Vice President of the South Central District. She became only the second State FFA Officer that has come from the East Union FFA Chapter. Also attending the convention sessions and events were Haley Willett and Sidney Staver and Mary Brammer.
