We are less than one week away from 2025 East Union Homecoming: Dancing Through the Decades! Make sure you check out the schedule of events so you don't miss out on any of the FUN!

JH FOOTBALL SCHEDULE UPDATE : Monday's (9/8) JH Football game against Seymour/Mormon Trail will now be played at Mormon Trail, in Hummeston --- NOT in Seymour.

Game Time is 4:30, the bus will leave at 2:30 pm - Players will need to be at the school by 2:15 pm

We would like to share that Ben Clear has been selected as Veteran of the Week, an honor coordinated by Joe Anson and his non-profit organization, Veteran of the Week. This recognition is part of an annual initiative that highlights and honors Union County Veterans each Friday at 5:00 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Ben was chosen through a nomination and selection process that took place over the summer, and he will be recognized this Friday, September 5th at 5:00 p.m. on the East Union High School football field.

Joe Anson and his organization, who also lead the Inspiring Youth of the Week program, along with East Union would like to extend a special invitation to staff and students to thank him for his service to our country.

The schedule for Tuesday night's High School Volleyball tournament at Southeast Warren has been updated. This will now be Pool Play. The Eagles first match will now begin at 6 pm and not 5 pm.

The East Union Cheerleaders are also teaming up with Blue Star Moms of Iowa Chapter to help support our troops overseas! They’ll be collecting donations of items needed to help pack 2,700 care packages for deployed service members. 💙✨ 📦 Bring your donation items to the game and help us make a difference! The t-shirt store is NOW OPEN! Check out the link or scan the QR code. Each class has a certain color, so be sure to pick the right one for your student!

The store will CLOSE on Thursday 9/4/25 @ 12:00 pm. T-shirts will be delivered in time for our HOCO Shirt Day!.

The orders from our East Union fall apparel store have arrived. They will be available for pick-up in the CLC at East Union until 5 pm today. If you need to make alternate arrangements, please reach out to cmccollough@eastunionschools.org.

JH Football practice begins Wednesday, 8/20 at 4 pm. All players will need to be registered through Bound, with a valid physical before participating in practice.

The School Board Meeting scheduled for this evening has been rescheduled for next Monday, August 25th at 6:30 pm.

The High School Baseball Awards banquet will be Sunday, 8/17 at 4 pm at Pizza Ranch in Creston. We'll be in the banquet room off the hallway to the bathrooms.
