East Union Community Schools

The East Union High School Student Council is hosting their second of three blood drives this year at East Union.

This drive will be held on December 5, 2025 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm in the Elementary School Gym. They are partnered with the American Red Cross for this event and need your help!

Thank you to those who donated in October, we were able to collect 18 units!

Our new goal is to have 28 units of blood donated, currently we only have 8 donors signed up. If you have ever thought about donating, here is your chance!

You're invited to support our Juniors and Seniors by participating in Penny Wars! A friendly competition among classrooms, with a potential pizza party as a grand prize!

The High School Cross Country Awards Banquet will be Tuesday, 11/18 at 7 PM in the High School Library.

The High School Football and Cheer Awards Banquet will be held Monday, 11/10 at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium.

There will then be a player meeting for all returning HS Football players following the banquet.

The East Union Student Council invites all Veterans and their families to join them on 11/11/2025 at 11:00 am for the Annual Veterans Day Celebration Program.

Want to go to Fort Dodge and cheer on Brock Driskill at the State Cross Country Meet, but don't have a ride? Don't worry, the Pep Bus is Back!

We'll be offering a Pep Bus for any students grades 7-12 interested in going to support Brock as he competes at State Cross Country on Saturday, 11/1.

Permission slips can be picked up at the HS Front Office. Permissions slips, $1, and proof of ticket (Purchased through Bound) are due by the end of the school day Friday, 10/31!

EU Sophomore QB Braxdyn Tucker is up for Sporting News' Iowa HS Football Sophomore of the year! He's currently in the lead, but there are only a few more hours left to vote. Voting is unlimited, keep those votes coming in!

The pep bus for Friday, October 24th, will load in the Activity Parking Lot, on the North side of the building. The bus will leave East Union at 3:30 pm. Students will need to arrive by 3:15 pm and show proof of purchased ticket prior to getting on the bus.

Congratulations to EU Junior, Brock Driskill! Today at the Cross Country State Qualifying Meet, Brock finished 10th and punched his ticket to STATE!!!!! He'll run at State next Saturday!

The East Union Football Playoff apparel is in and ready for pick-up. It can be picked up in the CLC until 8 pm tonight. This week, the iJAG and Ag classes attended the Central Iowa Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Expo. They had the opportunity to participate in many hands-on activities.
