There have been a couple updates to this coming week's High School Basketball Schedule. Please see below...
Tuesday, 12/10/2024 @ Wayne
- We will now be playing 2 quarters each for JV Girls & JV Boys. JV Boys will play during the Varsity Girls game and JV Girls will play during the Varsity Boys game.
Friday, 12/13/2024 home vs. Lenox
- We will now be playing 2 quarters each for JV Girls & JV Boys prior to the Varsity Games.
- Due to the Varsity official's schedule, the start time for the Varsity Games will be pushed back 30 minutes.
- JV Girls : 5 pm
- JV Boys : 5:30 pm
- Varsity Girls : 6:30 pm
- Varsity Boys : est. 7:45 pm

"Giving Tuesday" is a great time to think of contributing to the East Union ASPIRE Endowment Fund!!!
The ASPIRE "More" Thrift Store will be closed from Nov. 27th - Dec. 3rd for Thanksgiving Break. Accepting NO donations until we reopen in December.
The JH Boys Basketball games for next Monday, 12/2 against Southwest Valley will be played in Villisca and not in Corning.
The middle school is located at 406 E. 3rd Street in Villisca.
With next week being Thanksgiving week, It is important to remember that our school week has changed. School will be in session Monday November 25, 2024 and Tuesday November 26, 2024 next week and will be out Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to celebrate the holiday.

The High School Volleyball Awards Banquet will be Thursday, 11/21 at 7 pm in the High School Concourse. There will be a Pot Luck, along with awards!
All returning players for next season, please arrive at 6:30 pm to go over off-season plans and next season expectations.
Our East Union second grade students and staff members would like to thank the Dickson and Luann Jensen Family for their generous gift: copies of "Just Like Caitlin" for every second grade student in the state of Iowa! "Just Like Caitlin" tells the story of Caitlin Clark, and includes “many important life lessons like dreaming big, working hard, valuing relationships over winning,” and more. We are proud and excited to be Iowa second graders this year, and we are very grateful for this opportunity!
Registration for MMC Wrestling (grades K-6) will be Monday, November 18th at 5:30 at the fairgrounds. Practice will start at 6:00 - 6:45 for K-2 and 6:00 - 7:30 for 3rd-6th.
Our MS/HS Art Club members are excited to share a couple fundraisers with you to support their program!
The Pizza Ranch tips nights will be Tuesday, November 12th AND Wednesday, November 27th both from 4:30-8pm.

Due to the four day school schedule our Veterans day program will be held on Friday, November 8th instead of Monday, the 11th. Veterans will be seated at 10:45 am in the gym, and lunch for veterans will follow the program. Guest speaker is Dr Gantz. We are looking forward to welcoming our community veterans.
