Mr. Walsh's math for the trades class explores math in orthopedic surgery! Dr. William Ralston, Orthopedic Surgeon at Greater Regional Health showed the students x-rays as well as the hardware and tools used during surgery. It was a behind the scene look at math in the workplace!
The Baking and Pastry Arts team of Hallie White and Mallory Waigand are showing off their culinary creativity! They baked and decorated this masterpiece. It is a Chocolate layer cake decorated with buttercream icing, chocolate ganache drip and Oreos! YUM! YUM! Beautiful!

EU High School Basketball gets underway Friday Night with a scrimmage against Melcher-Dallas! Friday night's scrimmage has also been approved under the Achieve Service Project Challenge! Our service project will be a Winter Clothes drive for EU Aspire!

Yesterday morning 38 students from East Union, Creston, St. Malachy, and Mayflower joined together to get a taste of Youth Philanthropy at the "Bringing YACC Back" Philanthropy Event at the Creston Arts Center. At this event students were challenged to begin thinking about how they can use their time, talent, treasure, and testimony to make a difference in Union County. YACC (Youth Answering the Call of the Community) is a youth-led philanthropic organization in Union County, IA supported by the DEKKO Foundation.
