'Twas PJ Day for our secondary students & staff. It was great to see everyone getting into the festive spirit! Tomorrow is holiday spirit gear.
Last week our secondary staff went all out for Undercover Spirit Week. From secret service agents, drinking from anything but a cup, to celebrating holidays, they nailed every theme. It was a fun and creative way to kick off our holiday activities. Stay tuned this week for student and staff dress up days.

The High School Basketball games against Lenox, postponed on 12/13/2024 has now been rescheduled for Thursday, 1/2/2025.
**HS Girls Wrestling 12/14/24 Cancelled**
The High School Girls Wrestling tournament at Southeast Pol for tomorrow, 12/14 has been cancelled due to the threat of inclement weather and other teams unable to travel.
Southwest Iowa Driver's Education will begin its winter session at East Union on January 2nd. All information, including the registration form, was emailed to each 8th through 12th grade student and parent. Return the paperwork and payment to the central office prior to the first day of class.
Tonight's JH Girls Basketball game at Lamoni has been cancelled.
Due to tonight's impending weather later in the evening and out of an abundance of caution due to the official's travel, tonight's High School Basketball games against Lenox are being postponed. We will send out additional communication once a makeup date is confirmed.
Practices are also to be completed by 6:30 pm

Tuesday, 12/10/2024 @ Wayne
- We will now be playing 2 quarters each for JV Girls & JV Boys. JV Boys will play during the Varsity Girls game and JV Girls will play during the Varsity Boys game.
Friday, 12/13/2024 home vs. Lenox
- We will now be playing 2 quarters each for JV Girls & JV Boys prior to the Varsity Games.
- Due to the Varsity official's schedule, the start time for the Varsity Games will be pushed back 30 minutes.
- JV Girls : 5 pm
- JV Boys : 5:30 pm
- Varsity Girls : 6:30 pm
- Varsity Boys : est. 7:45 pm

"Giving Tuesday" is a great time to think of contributing to the East Union ASPIRE Endowment Fund!!!
The ASPIRE "More" Thrift Store will be closed from Nov. 27th - Dec. 3rd for Thanksgiving Break. Accepting NO donations until we reopen in December.
The JH Boys Basketball games for next Monday, 12/2 against Southwest Valley will be played in Villisca and not in Corning.
The middle school is located at 406 E. 3rd Street in Villisca.
With next week being Thanksgiving week, It is important to remember that our school week has changed. School will be in session Monday November 25, 2024 and Tuesday November 26, 2024 next week and will be out Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to celebrate the holiday.
