Parent-Teacher Conference week is rapidly approaching. This spring we will be trying something different for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be held on one day, March 2nd, with the rest of the week being a regular schedule. In the secondary, we run our conferences as an open house. To those of you who wish to visit, know that you are free to visit at any time Monday, March 2nd from 12-8pm. For some of you the secondary secretary Becca Ross will be reaching out to you to schedule a conference. We schedule conferences with any student that has a failing grade or for any other concern a teacher may have. Becca will reach out to you to ensure that these get scheduled at a time that works for both the teacher and the family. If you as a parent or guardian would like to have a private time to talk with any specific teachers, please reach out to Becca Ross at 641-347-8421 or bross@eastunionschools.org to schedule a conference.
We're proud to join the statewide Stop the Prop campaign, provided by @lowaSchoolBoards! The message is simple: Always keep school doors shut and secure. Every student, staff member, and visitor plays a role in keeping our schools safe. Look for our new stickers on doors across the district! #StopTheProp #IASBSchoolSafety
