We are one week away from FASFA Information Night! This event is being held in the auditorium on October 20th at East Union from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
There will be a Southwestern Community College (SWCC) Representative joining us to give a presentation and help walk students and families thought the FASFA process. In the picture is a list of items to bring!
Congratulations to our team of Brock Driskill, Maria Long, Mia Tallmon, and Liam Morris for their incredible 3rd-place finish at the State FFA Soil Evaluation Event in Ames!
Our East Union Eagles Volleyball Team defeated Mt. Ayr in Round 1 of the Pride of Iowa Conference Championship and are advancing to Round 2! The Eagles will take on Southeast Warren, winner advances to the POI Championship game @ 7:30 pm.

The field will be centered with the 50 yard line serving as the 40 yard line
Gates open at 6:00.
Spectators should park in lot 61 or 62 (61 is probably the best bet).

School Picture Retake Day is scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday, November 10th.
Who can participate?
Absent Students: Any student who missed the original Picture Day.
Retakes: Students who ordered pictures but would like to have their photo retaken.

East Union Flu Shot Clinic
East Union will be offering flu shots for both students and staff next Friday, October 16th from 7:30am - 9:00am. This is an optional service being provided. Students and staff must be registered by this Friday October 9th.
You can schedule an appointment through the MyChart app, online, or by scanning the QR code. Consent forms will be available to be picked up in the school offices and will also be emailed out.

10th Graders attended the Find Your Future event @SWCC on Thursday, October 1st. This event was designed to give students an opportunity to explore the many educational and career pathways available at Southwestern Community College.
During the event, they were able to see Southwestern’s Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) transfer pathways, along with highlighting our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Students were able to have the opportunity to learn more about their programs, connect with faculty and staff, and discover where their future could take them at SWCC.
Aydon Perrigo also got 3rd place in a simulation of building cars while visiting the automotive program!
