East Union Elementary offers Summer School each June, and today we completed another successful program, thanks to the commitment of a number of our staff members. All teachers are certified East Union educators; pictured here are Mrs. Robin McNutt, Ms. Kacie Ripperger, Mrs. Tara Luther, Ms. Autumn Hoadley, Mr. Marcus Patten, and Mr. Brice Updike. Not pictured by equally appreciated is Mrs. Debbie Aldrich. Students enjoy delicious daily meals provided by our Food Service Personnel, including Mrs. Tawnya Jones, Mrs. Shannon McMillen, and Mrs. Andrea Clear (who also drives a school vehicle as a member of the Transportation Department). Piloting the big yellow buses are Mr. Dale Denton and Mr. Gary Clear, and Mrs. Christine Bear works summer hours as well, serving as our Building Secretary and also as a member of the Maintenance Department. Mrs. Joan Gordon, Elementary Principal, is very grateful for those who are involved in ensuring that our Little Eagles receive the very best! Most importantly, our student attendance was excellent, with 85% of our students in attendance for at least 80% of the days Summer School was offered. Thank you to all who continue to make East Union “the first choice for all families!”

Good luck to our very own Seth Ripperger as he competes at the National Skills USA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, this week! Seth will be a Senior this year and is dual enrolled in SWCC's CTE courses.
