Winter Season store closes on Monday, November 3rd @ Noon. No late orders will be allowed. You can purchase apparel for basketball, wrestling, cheer, and speech/drama. Please be sure to click the tabs in the bottom left of the screen to view each activity's items. Money raised will go to each respective team.

The pep bus for Friday, October 24th, will load in the Activity Parking Lot, on the North side of the building. The bus will leave East Union at 3:30 pm. Students will need to arrive by 3:15 pm and show proof of purchased ticket prior to getting on the bus.

Congratulations to EU Junior, Brock Driskill! Today at the Cross Country State Qualifying Meet, Brock finished 10th and punched his ticket to STATE!!!!! He'll run at State next Saturday!

The East Union Football Playoff apparel is in and ready for pick-up. It can be picked up in the CLC until 8 pm tonight. This week, the iJAG and Ag classes attended the Central Iowa Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Expo. They had the opportunity to participate in many hands-on activities.

Pep Bus Reminder : Sign up for Friday's Pep Bus closes tomorrow. Be sure to sign up with your proof of ticket and $1 at the High School main office by the end of the day Thursday. Once the sign up is completed, additional details, including leave time will be sent out.

East Union ASPIRE "More" & Friends will be hosting Fraud Fighters Oct. 29th at the Afton Community Center. A free meal will be served at 5:30 with the informational presentation to follow. Call Tammy Ross 641-340-0484 for more info.

We will be selling "Boo Bags" (rice Krispie treat, candy, and a small goodie) during conferences and at middle/high school breakfast and lunch this week as a fundraiser for the secondary PR committee. "Boo Bags" can be purchased for $2 each and will be delivered to students/staff on October 31st. Stop by the CLC Tuesday/Thursday evening to purchase a bag to send to your student(s) and while you're there, be sure to swing by the Book Fair to get them something extra special!

Thinking about going to the High School Football Playoff game, but don't have a ride? No worries, we have a Pep Bus!

Any students in grades 4-12 interested in riding the Pep Bus to Montezuma will need to have their parent/guardian complete the permission slip attached and return it to the High School Front office by the end of the day Thursday, 10/23, along with their $1 and proof of a purchased ticket.

Bus Safety Week starts now! East Union drivers, please be hyper-aware. When you see those flashing red lights and the stop arm out, STOP. It's the law, and it keeps our kids safe. 🚌🚨

This week is Parent-Teacher Conferences. We will be running a regular class schedule on Monday Oct. 20th and Wednesday Oct. 22nd, with a 1:15pm early dismissal on Tuesday Oct. 21st and Thursday Oct. 22nd. There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday Oct. 24th. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 28th.

If you haven't received communication about a one on one conference time, please know that you are welcome to contact the office to schedule one if needed. We will be holding conference open house hours from 2-8pm.

As most of you know, this week is Parent-Teacher conference week. In the secondary, we run our conferences as an open house. Those of you who wish to visit, know that you are free to visit any teacher either Tuesday or Thursday this week to discuss your student. For some of you, the Secondary Secretary, Becca Ross, will be or has reached out to you to schedule a conference. We schedule conferences with any student that has a failing grade or for any other concern a teacher may have, Becca will reach out to you to ensure that these get scheduled at a time that works for both the teacher and the family. If you as a parent or guardian would like to have a private time to talk with any specific teacher, please reach out to Becca Ross at 641-347-8421 or bross@eastunionschools.org to schedule a conference. Anna has access to all our teachers schedules and can get a conference set up for you. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you this week!
