The East Union golf ⛳️ teams represented on the greens today! 🥇 The girls team of Kaelee Buffington, Kathryn Lack, Gwen Nixon, Mia Tallmon, and Maryls Mitchell took 1st as a team. 🥇 Gwen Nixon was overall 1st place for girls. 🥈 Kathryn Lack was runner up for girls. 🥈 Zayne Eslinger was runner up for boys. Due to Monday night's cancellation, the JH Boys and Girls Track teams will now be joining the meet at Nodaway Valley on Thursday, 5/1.

Iowa’s top academic students were chosen by their member schools for the 2025 Governor’s Scholar Program. The Governor’s Office, the Iowa High School Athletic Association, and its Title Sponsor, the Iowa Farm Bureau, presented this recognition which began in 2003. Today, April 27th, 2025, 371 seniors were honored as high academic achievers. It is our honor to recognize Molly Gennaro as the East Union 2025 Governor’s Scholar. #EaglePride

Eagles Take Flight is turning up the heat with our next fundraiser! We will be hosting a drive thru Fried Chicken Dinner @ The Union County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, May 13th from 4:30-6:30pm. The iJAG and 21st Century Skills classes had the opportunity to attend Build My Future last week! Students learned about different trade careers and heard from employers across the state.

The halls at EU were filled with smiles today! Sheriff Brian Bolton brought Patch, the newest deputy from the Union County Sheriff’s Office. Patch is the county’s Crisis Response Canine. His job is to comfort and support those he is around. He will be back to visit again soon!

Reminder: East Union Schools will be in session tomorrow April 14th. This will be a full day of school to make up for a lost school day due to snow.

For those planning on attending the Baseball Spring League game in Creston tomorrow, due to Creston's Prom, you'll have to take a different route to the field. Go North of the YMCA, then turn east into the Middle/Elementary Schools Entrance. Follow the road to the south by the football field, then turn back east into the parking lot.
