Mr. Cooley, Mr. Erlbacher along with our FFA chapter and staff hosted sub-district contest on Monday, February 10th @ East Union. Our members competed well: Cyler Wuebker- Creed Speaking-Bronze Brock Driskill-Public Speaking- Silver Becca Young-Ag Broadcasting- Silver Congratulations to the below events for advancing on to districts on Saturday, March 1st at Murray. Kade Weis-Extemporaneous Speaking- Gold Molly Gennaro, Gwen Nixon, Colton McKnight, Brock Jones and Ivy Eklund competed in Parliamentary Procedure - Gold Hayliegh Cooley, Kaylee Buffington, Liam Morris, Mia Tallmon, Miria Long, Lexi Hansen and Aiden Denton competed in Conduct of Meetings- Gold Congratulations to all!

The High School Boy's Basketball team will be traveling to Woodward Acadamy for the first round of District playoffs on Friday 2/14/2025. Game Time is 7 pm. Tickets go on sale Tuesday 2/11 at 9 pm and must be purchased on-line at the link below. https://www.iahsaa.org/tickets/

Hands-on learning with a dissection lab offers an invaluable educational experience for students. These labs also encourage teamwork and communication, as students often work in groups to complete their dissections, discussing their observations and drawing conclusions together. Mrs. Cheers and her human anatomy & physiology class completed a lab dissection of a cow eye and sheep brain. #EaglePride #Handsonlearning

East Union Speech had a phenomenal day at State Large Group Speech contest at Waukee High School. 🎭 Receiving straight I’s from the judges was our Decades News team of Rebecca Young, Khloe Parker, Aiden Denton, Brock Driskill, Carter Harper, Reese Guiter, and Dallas Harper. 🎭 Receiving a mixed 1 (2,1,1) from the judges was our Golden Torch team of Rebecca Young, Khloe Parker, Aiden Denton, and Cyler Wuebker. Congratulations on a job well done! 🩵🦅🤍

Congratulations to Cheyenne Dike! 🤼‍♀️ Cheyenne ended her amazing sophomore season 34-11 and claimed 8th place in Class 1A State Girls Wrestling @ 145! She also claims the FIRST ever girls state placer in East Union history!! Congrats on an amazing run Cheyenne! #EaglePride🦅

The East Union Infant Toddler Center continues to progress. Delays in furniture deliveries and tech installation have been frustrating, but it's going to be fantastic!
